Idmiston Parish Council

Many of the amenities in the parish are centred in Porton Village with Winterslow Road being the the home of most of the businesses. The memorial hall in Porton provides a base for a range of the clubs, groups and societies that operate in the parish. There are 2 primary schools in the parish and Porton has Baptist and Church of England churches.

The historic city of Salisbury is about 6 miles south west of the Parish and provides a wide range of high quality amenities and services.
